Gypsum plaster is one of the oldest forms of plastering. It provides a smoother, easier to repair wall in comparison to traditional drywall construction.
Stucco is widely used for its durability and aesthetic. This is due to the fact that it is a hard, water-shedding, color retentive, low-maintenance, and breathable material. Since stucco is breathable, water that gets behind it does not become trapped, making it more resistant to rot and fungus.
